Hari Ohm . During’ Navarathri’ we worship 3 Goddesses , Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswathy. Durga is considered to be Mahishasuramarddhini which means the one who destroys the evil of laziness. So the first invocation of Durga is considered as a commitment to have a disciplined life. Only by observing punctuality one can destroy the Mahishasura ( Lethargy, Laziness) from one’s own mind. Once you start getting up early in the morning practice meditation and japam ie invocation of Lakshmi where you are cultivating spiritual wealth in your mind. Then you study scriptures especially Bhagawath Geetha, Bhagawatham, Ramayanam etc. You are worshiping Saraswathy who is representing the spiritual wisdom. By this one can transform their weak mind into stronger one and later it becomes very energetic ,creative and balanced. So this is achieved through Navarathri Pooja
