Pranamam Swamiji how to know if I have the potential to be an IAS officer ?? Hari Ohm.IAS is meant for people who have good leadership qualities. If you have ability to influence ,convincing power ,communication skill and listening power.Such persons only can excel in the administrative field.Otherwise you can pass out civil service and become an officer who is unknown to the public . However if you want to be a person of administrative skill and ability ,work hard,train yourself and try.Then you will appreciate yourself.Otherwise as you are frustrated now you will continue to be so if you don’t change your basic nature.
