Dear Abhilash,
According to our Vedic literature the first Guru is our own mind.
Unless your mind is ready to accept and try to transform itself, any amount of Knowledge and Guidance can not help you.
Second Guru is our parents; because of their upbringing we could develop certain inner qualities.
Third Guru is the one who helps us to understand about the inner potential powers.
They are the spiritual guides.
Here you should have the broadmindedness to accept knowledge from every where.
Fourth Guru is the Scriptures which help us to understand the Spiritual Knowledge.
Without the understanding of the real meaning any action and ritual can not help us to transform into the higher awareness.
HariOm!
