Dear Dhanya,
First of all, you should understand we have no freedom to change others’ mind (attitude).
Even if you try your best to join two people, superficially they may seem to be together; but in reality they keep the same hostility and adamant nature in their mind.
So, what I suggest for you is to practise meditation and feel the Divine Presence and slowly and steadily talk goodness of your father to your mother and vice versa.
It may help them to change their adamant and arrogant mind; also develop guilt for keeping the separation!
Through this you may be able to help or inspire your parents.
For that you need a powerful spiritual energy!
