Pranamams with a lot of love and respect to you dear Swamiji I would like to have your advice on one issue if you would be willing to give it.My husbands aunt unfortunately expired a few yrs back and she was a 39 yr old sweet, hardworking lady. Her 2 sons are now in their teens. They are not at all serious about their studies especially the younger one is always into his cellphone the whole day and says he doesn’t care that he will fail the exams.Their dad also gave up scolding and trying to fix them.We meet only once a year when I go to their house in Kerala as I stay in Mumbai but I am pained as I know that later when they grow into the real world they will highly regret these things and they probably won’t get a decent job.I know the pain of losing a parent early in life as I lost my dad and I know nobody can replace the true love and care.I can see the pain that is hidden in them but what they are doing is wrong and I feel helpless that I can’t do anything about it .They are not close to me but are a bit close to my husband as they have known him since childhood. Is there anything I can do to influence their mind and make them see the truth about life, I know I myself am flawed and I don’t want to give them a bunch of advise but I want to make them understand as they don’t realize they are making a big mistake and once they come into the real world nobody will respect them or give them a job.We are ever ready to help them monetarily but that’s of no use. They are not interested in spirituality either like their father.Since you do influence a lot of minds including mine, I wanted some tips as to how I can influence them a bit and make them understand .Thanking you with lots of love and gratitude

Hari Ohm. This has to be dealt with patiently and affectionately. Let the children go for counseling.Let them understand their responsibility.Someone has to influence them motivate them and make them responsible for their future.
