Pranamam Swamiji,1. I would like to know whether, if there is any need to fear the dark and what is the reason for the fear that comes out of our mind?2. I know that, strength, or the Bhagwan is within ourselves, and I don’t believe in Ghosts and other stuffs, but still when the darkness come into picture, I feel some fear. How can I face and overcome it, and would like to know the reason about the same swamiji.

Hai Ohm . Start practicing deep breathing, chanting long Ohm . After each Ohm visualize darkness and observe your mind, how much your mind is involving in that.Again concentrate on Ohm. Continue Ohmkar until your mind totally merge into it. Once your mind is disconnected from the fearful memories remember some other event ,then consciously continue chanting. Here you are training your mind to drop the fearful thoughts as and when it comes in mind .When your practice go deeper you will stabilize and be able to encounter darkness without getting nervous.
