Hari Ohm . There are no restrictions for chanting vedic sookthas as misunderstood by the people. You should understand that the manthras are very positive vibrations of divine sound. When you chant with rhythm (meters) described,then the energy you create will be much higher than the normal chanting. You have all the freedom to chant the way you want but rhythm makes the above difference
