Pranam Swamiji, There is a scholar near our town who uses pendulam to find out our energy levels. He says we are either of vishnu presence or siva presence. Hence using his pendulum he says i shud not use thulasi mala or spadika mala or navaratna ring or chain which is suitable for people who has vishnu presence. i am of siva presence and i shud use rudraksha mala and i shud chant only siva sukthas and give importance visiting siva temples. Is there any factuals in this. Pl advs. . .

Hari Ohm. Please don’t get lost in these kinds of misguiding beliefs as those theories do not have any spiritual base.If Siva Himself can chant Rama manthram wearing Rudraksha do you think Siva can curse a devotee who is chanting Ramanama wearing rudraksha or someone who is wearing Thulasimala and chanting Siva nama ?
It is stated in Bhagavath Geetha that all names of Siva or Vishnu enhances devotion,if your mind truly love namasmaranam .Such a devotee will ignore ignore these kinds of talks or beliefs,but concentrate on what they chant. People who lack true love get lost in rosary (japamala) which they wear etc. In Ramayanam Sabari was wearing Rudraksha and worshiping Rama.No saint ever told that she has Siva energy or Vishnu energy etc.People who value these kind of energies and all lack true devotion
