Pranamam Swamiji, I have two doubts.1. can we have a lord Krishna idol in home and can we do Archana by ourself.2.if at all we can do Archanas by ourself, how to do Archana. what are things that can be offered to god?Many people told me that we should not have any idols at home, especially at pooja room…..is there any reasons behind this?..

Hari Ohm. keeping an idol is for our own transformation. Most of the people suffer in their life because of too much of emotional weakness.When you visualise the form of Krishna in your mind ,that will gradually boost your positive energy and confidence. Hence emotions will not affect your life substantially. So sit in front of the idol kept in the pooja room,visualise the deity and chant Ohm Narayanaya 108 times . Can offer flowers at the feet while chanting.
