Dear Swamiji, I do not know whether i can ask questions for answers from youfrequently.Thank you very much for your prompt reply for my question on Saligram. I would like to know whether there can be any Swayambhu or self manifested images as every idol is man made and if we do not know its origin then we say it is a Swayambhu. Please clear my doubt. Thank you. shantha n nair

Dear Shantha,
Swayambhoos are natural stones which are considered to be the manifestation of the Divine. With out the carved shilpam and pratishta people started praying at that particular place, and they later on became temples.
Understand, all these kind of worships are meant for our own mental development . Only human mind can reach and merge in to the God who is our self.
Hari Om!
