Respected Swamiji, I lost my job in 2003, after putting in almost 25 years of sincere service. I started hating my boss who was responsible for this and my hatredness towards him still continues, in spite of almost 7 years have passed. Ofcourse by the grace of God, I could get a job, though not attractive in terms of money and fame. The boss who was responsible for removing me from service also lost his job in the same year. However, in my dreams I take revenge against my boss and I feel happy that he is repenting for the act he has done on me. Swamiji, I wanted to know what should I do to get rid of my vengence in mind against such a boss. Should I go and approach him and vend it out … once for all….I know and my mind also tells me that I should not think ill about anybody including our own enemies…. Please advise.

Dear Mararji,
An ordinary person never discover his/her own short commings ( less skill or less efficency).
When somebody questions or finds out, then we develop revenge upon them, thinking that they are our enemies.
Understand, when somebody criticizes they are expecting more perfection from us.
Intelligent one learns and reforms by taking more efferts like the decoit Ratnakara in Ramayanam.
If you look back, you can see your boss was an instument for your self improvement.
Now, don’t live in the past; learn from that, do your work with full of inspiration and commitment.
If you keep revenge, the mind produces more negative or harmful chemicals (toxins).
This can develop more diseases.
So mentally love your enemy.
He is the one who helped you to develop more power.
Love, love, love ……. even enemies!
That is our culture.
That alone helps you to go nearer to the Lord because God is Love!
