Pranam Swamiji, Ravana was so cruel. He destroyed many ladies, killed many hrishis and blocked many yagas. He was supreme of all evils, still he got moksha. But we doing little papas has ti take birth again and again. What is the reason for this disparity. Pl advs.

Hari Ohm. our understanding about moksha is different from the idea of the word moksha as per the sasthras. The meaning of the word ‘moksha’ is mohakshaya which implies freedom from fear, miseries and all kinds of desire and mental agitation . unless one practices saadhana ,he wont be able to develop inner strength to rise from the mental or emotional weakness. Majority of us prefer to remain in emotional planes ,very few take pains to develop strength to balance emotion. Now coming to Ravana , the moksha which he attained is a temporary relief for the world from his atrocities and he got chance to see and encounter SriRama which was a blessing in disguise to get rid of his papa and betterment of next life
