Pranaamam ?? Swamiji I want to ask about significance of yagya in our environment and also for our economy . Like I heard about ‘Athiraathram’ yagya which causes rainfall that was proved and another thing I heard about that yagya also contributes to economy because in yagya there is huge consumption of milk , butter , medicinal herbs , flowers , etc and construction of yagya shala and many other things which in turn increase consumption and increase in consumption causes increase in demand and it causes increase in supply and in turn causes increase in employment and income . I started thinking about this when I was listening to my SYB.com lecture on Keynesian economics which is a theory that says the government should increase demand to boost growth and it that believe consumer demand is the primary driving force in an economy. As a result, the theory supports the expansionary fiscal policy. So I thought yagya is also a economic practice in some or the other way . Please clarify my doubts if I am wrong than correct me Swamiji ???
