Hari Om Swamiji, Thank you so much for spreading the inexhaustible and invaluable knowledge of our scriptures.. I would like to understand one explaination from your Bhagavatham discourse. Swamiji, you had mentioned that fingers represent the following. Small finger-body, ring finger- mind, middle finger- budhi, index finger- ego/ I, thumb- ishwaran. But , in yoga the explanation is small finger- water, ring finger- earth, middle finger- space, index finger- air, thumb- fire. Kindly let me know how I can connect the two explainations. Hari Om. Hari Ohm. Every scripture has its own unique interpretation, sometimes we see contradictions also. This contradiction is created for us not to loose ourselves in text book knowledge because if we get lost in text book knowledge you may not search for inner experience.
Once you know the power of sadhana and how it is transforming your mind and relax your body .Focus more on that than getting confused with words and symbols. The fingers are only indicators and the reality is within us ,focus more on the reality than on external things.
