swamiji, you said that our mind is one but occupies different bodies in different births,..then, why is that our mind cannot recollect anything about our past life?

Dear Sailakshmi,
Our physical faculties (brain, memory and other sensory organs) have very limited capabilities.
We all know that our ears can not hear sounds below twenty decibels and above twenty thousand decibels.
It means that we are unable to hear sounds beyond our audible range, even though they exist!
Similarly, our memory can not remember all that happened or learned in this lifetime itself!
Then how can you remember past lifetimes?
All strong impressions go deep into the mind and get accumulated to form Vasanas, even if they are remembered or not!
This decides your next lifetime too!
Mind is at the highest level compared to all these faculties; even it can not understand the UNLIMITED or INFINITE!
It can only unite with the INFINITE!
Hari Om.
