Pujya Swamiji. Hari Om It is a fact that we love to hear Srimath Bhagavatham asmany times as possible with determination to understand the basic TATWAS that we have to raise our mind to the spirutuality and by that able to distance from BOUDHIKA objectc etc. That is more towards the Chaitanaya than on the Maya. By this are we not getting a vasana for able to hear the Bhagavatham and thereby compelling ourselves to another Janma, and then another etc etc. So is it not better to do something by which we can get into the realm of Self consciousness at one go? Why repeat the janmas, and that we dont know what Janma we get in our next birth if there is one. I am confused. By the bye, I am lucky to attend the Bhagavatha Saptham at Guruvayur along with my husband from 23 Sept to 1 st Oct 2010. It was a grand success. We learnt a lot and your lectures were so enthraling and lifing our mind. We pray to God to give you good health and able to give many more years of service to the human

Dear Pushpa,
Sree Ramakrishna Paramahamsar says that a bad thorn (rajas and thamas) is removed with a good thorn (sathwa) and both thorns are discarded.
Similarly, all negative vasanas in the mind are replaced with positive vasanas with the help of Sadhana and Satsang. Then that mind is merged in the Chaithanyam.
(It can be compared to the funeral pyre stick lighting the pyre and finally burning itself too. Nothing remains afterwards).
HariOm!
