gurudev, I was in search of a Guru for my spiritual growth, and by God’s grace, I found my Guru in you. Please accept my Pranamam Gurudev. Before hearing to your Pravachanam, I was ignorant about the actual meaning of Bhakti. Due to this, I had promised to give a gold bracelate to lord Krishnan in Deenabandu Devastanam of Chinmaya Mission Bangalore, for blessing me with a helathy baby. But now after hearing to your words of wisdom, I am confused. I dont know if I have to keep up my promise and present the gold bracelet to the temple or should I use the same amount to donate to some Aashram for a good cause. Please show me the right path.

Giving food, clothes and education to needy children will please Lord Krishna more than a gold bracelet to HIM.
Do it regularly on your child’s birthday and conduct Satsangs at the Ashram.
Let your child grow up as a Satsangee!
