Dear Meera,
Bhagavan is not limited to any place.
It is your own Sel; when you go to the temple and do Prayer, you can imagine a form that helps you to get concentration and feeling of surrender.
There you and the form disappear and merges into ONE.
Then your Sadhana is going in the right way!
