Swamiji, what does “Narayan” actually mean?
Posted by Ramya on April 7, 2009
Dear Ramya,
Narayan means the “one who enlivens and resides in the water, air and fire”.
For any creation, the food is transformed to blood, and then to semen and ovum.
For this transformation, fire, air and water are required. These energies can unite only when there is chaithanyam(life force). Narayan means “One who unites all the natural powers and express through them”.
