In chapter 10 of bhagavadgita krishna describes himself as -among the vedic hyms i am the hym known as gayatri.among the months i am the month ‘margasisa’ etc,etc. What makes these names more importent than others of its category.I have given only a sample of names. please include the other names in your explanation. Dear Krishnan,
There is only Bhagavan here and there is no place or thing that is not HIM!
But human mind can not digest this Truth as it is too identified with names and forms and comparison.
So, the Lord says that, it is HE who is the water in the Holy Ganga, mountain as Himalaya and so on – that is, HE is comparing HIMSELF with the most auspicious and best in the world for all categories and aspects of CREATION!
Thus, it helps the human mind to capture a glimpse of the infinite divinity and honour every thing in this creation!
Such a God realized mind sees God only, in every thing!
