what a yugam and what is a kalpam how many years makes one yugam

There are 4 Yugas and in each Yuga there are different kalpas designated.
In these 4 Yugas we live in Kali Yugam which is considered to be most auspicious for spiritual upliftment.
The time you use for what purpose decides which “kalpa” you live in.
I mean, how you utilize your time; that makes all the sense. If you read Bhagavatham 12th skantham 3rd chapter you will get more information about this topic.
