The culture, the knowlege, the skill and the ego altogether is called Sukshma sariram which is the cause for next life.
Lord Krishna in Gita says if a person is developng sathwik vasanas(culture) for him next birth will be very easy.
To get a great birth, we have to develop a positive spiritual mind today onwards.
Then alone we can break our past culture and behavior which force us in continuing same pattern of life.
