It is seen that most of teachings are made from a man’s angle only not a woman’s. One cannot see many women saints as well. Moreover, it is not easy for a woman to pursue spiritual studies compared to a man. For example, a man can easily run away from home and do penance and pursue a spiritual way of life, but one cannot think of a girl doing that because of social problems. Dear Satheesan,
We should not worry about others. We came here not to show mere compassion to others. The prime objective is to attain highest peace within. That means oneness with the Self. In our culture, the stories like Kunti”s and Gopis” teach us that they could attain highest spiritual experience without renouncing any thing externally. They lived their house hold life with complete attachment with the God who is residing in the Self. Few men are able to achieve this alongwith their household activities. That is why they have to leave their homes forcefully.
