Pranaam Swamiji! Thank you for your time and guidance! I am in my early 30’s. For so long in my life, I have struggled with some people who don’t mind their own business and tell me what they think I should do in life. I always feel judged by others, including my mother, mother-in-law, some friends. They always want to know what I’m doing, why, then they proceed to give their advice, even though I didn’t ask for it. I try to live my life being aware of my actions and words, but it is becoming increasingly hard to deal with these people in my life. I feel like just disappearing from their lives without ever keeping touch. With friends, I intend to do that only. But with mother and mother-in-law, I don’t know what to do. Please guide me Swamiji. I feel so tired and frustrated with trying to do what feels right to me while staying out of touch with everyone. My life has become so lonely. Thank you once again Swamiji for your help.

When somebody irritates us, we think they are the people disturbing our peaceful existence.
But if you analyse intelligently, because of these people only we are gathering so much immunity (means mental strength).
This will alone help us to go through old age without much weakness.
In other way, you are unknowingly investing mental energy.
But to understand this, you need spiritual guidance.
When a patient is weak, he/she needs regular medication.
Similarly when God feels we are weak, HE sends doctors like your mother and mother in-law as to test with medicine called “irritation”.
So learn to look entire life as the test of God to make us more strong, because a strong mind alone can reach, experience and dissolve in to God (GITA 12 th chapter 4 th sloka).
HariOm!
