Dear Swamiji,you always tell us that we should not seek our needs and requirements from God,Instead we should be able to raise our mind to the level of God then we will not have any regrets.Then why should there be offerings and Pooja”s in temple and how will a temple be able to get financial aid like that of Guruvayoor and Sabarimala. How will the astroglers thrive.Is there anybody other than saints who have no commitments who go to temple with no requirements.I have all this doubts in my mind. There are special temples like karyasidhi Anjanaya temple where the sole purpose is to meet our requirements. Pleas clear my doubts Swamiji.

Mere worshipping in the temple will not help us in the spiritual progress. But for the spiritual progress temple can be used as a stepping stone. Those who limit their spirituality within temples have an attitude of expectations; the one who makes use of temple for spiritual uplift has an attitude of complete surrender and acceptance to whatever events that come to him. For him, God is not a separate entity, but his own Chaithanyam (Thathwamasi). Looking at God as separate from you is the kind of Bhakthi, which is not real Bhakthi, according to Lord Krishna.
