Respected swamiji Hari Om Its my mothers first death anniversay next month.Rather than performing a puja and organising feast for family n relatives i want to do some daanam in an orphanage or temple…..but elders say rituals hav to b followed…pls help me to make a decision.. Regards Radha

Dear Radhaji,
I suggest that you do both.
Offering rituals in the ordinary way, will satisfy your elders and offering daanam will satisfy needy people.
This way you can repay for the debts that you owe to the beloved mother.
