What are the things which shank, chakra, gada and padma represent in lord vishnu?
Posted by Gopa Kumar on August 3, 2011
Dear Gopa Kumarji,
Cong (shank) represents the body (all forms).
All the forms were and are like egg (oval) shape and every thing is existing in “Vishnu” the conscious energy in each and every one of us.
Gadha ( mace) represents the intellect; that is the biggest equipment which we got from the Divine.
With intellect we can create or develop a great life.
If we won’t use it properly, we will get defeated .
Lotus represents the mind which turns towards the Divine (sun) that shines forever.
Chakram represent the vision of divinity.
We can see diversity with our physical eyes but we can see the same Truth which supports with our eyes of wisdom(sudarsanam) There our mind becomes more divine.
