Respected guruji. Jai shri Krishna. I am an avid and regular follower of your discourses. I am in awe and appreciation of your teachings. From recent discourses, I have inferred that the intensity of conversations with the almighty is independent of the existence of a sacred place. However, the elders in my family seem to disagree with this point, as they insist that going to any sacred place is essential for divinity in the interaction with the almighty. Dear Jayanthi,
It is not the environment, it is the attitude of the mind that decides whether you are tuned with God or not. Even in the most sacred place, people can be disturbed. But in the midst of all problems some people are able to balance their mind. If you go to any temple, you just look at the staff; are they not disturbed? If the environment can influence the mind, definitely these people should be more peaceful than us.
