Dear Swamiji, I am not able to be attentive and I am forgetting things ( I can say that I am not very sharp to understand things and I am not able to work smart in all the aspects) I really want to do extremely well in all the works say in my office & in my personal life. My concentration power is deteriorating. Is this because of the Star I born or the time I born. My star is Moolam. I really feel very bad of my ineffectiveness and I hate being like this. I am 42 years old. Will I not be able to develop my concentration power hereafter. Please reply me.

Dear Sangeethaji,
There is nothing wrong with the God given talents or skills in you.
The only problem is in the “Auto Suggestion” that you give to your mind constantly that you are ineffective.
It is degrading the Lord within yourself.
Understand, if you were not intelligent, you can not diagnose your problem as you have done or try to solve it in an effective way by expressing it and sending a mail to me.
So, remind your self that you are an effective person.
When you shift your focus from the areas where you lack to the areas where you are smart, a mental shift will happen.
So, do not compare yourself with others; they may be ineffective in many areas where you are shining.
Do not underestimate the potentialities of your mind.
Look at your life from it’s totality and discover the areas where you can contribute well.
Regular Sadhana will help you overcome your weakness.
