Namasthe swamiji,I have heard about pundarikan in purana.But I dont know anything about him. Can u tell me who is he?

Dear Raji,
Understand, all our Hindu rituals and forms have significant meaning.
Here the Pundarika means punda = pindam, means the body.
Akan means the conscious energy which holds the mind, breath and heat in the body.
So, when you go to the temple understand that Pundarika is the replica of your own self.
