Why Rama Suicide in Sarayu River ?

Dear Sandeepji,
It is not suicide as an unintelligent person commits.
It is leaving one’s own body by clear understanding and with out regret, when the mission or purpose of a life time is achieved.
(The mind then takes another body as one changes their dress).
Hindus are so broadminded, even they could share their body as a food to the fish.
In those times, river water was not needed for drinking.
You can see many more such examples in our mythology.
