Dear Asha,
Children never know what is good and bad, so it is the duty of the parents to guide them in the spiritual line.
Initially you should inspire your child with interesting stories and teach very melodious “keerthan” by singing together.
Once he get the taste, then he will continue even without your instruction.
At this age, please do Nama Japam keeping him in your lap.
