Hari Om! Dear Swamiji “HAPPY THIRUVONAM” Swamiji, recently, I came across a quote that I would like to frame for my kids so that they can always have it with them. The quote is: “Watch your thoughts for they become words; watch your words for they become actions; watch your actions for they become habits; watch your habits for they become character; watch your character for it becomes your destiny” My question Swamiji is this: I would like to know the origin of this quote. I tried to look it up and there seems to be all kinds of conflicts as far its origin is concerned. These are from Brhadaranika Upanishad and many other upanishads.
It is very difficult to write all Manthras, you please refer to the Upanishads.
Now it is very much available as 108 Upanishads in a single book.
The Manthra goes like this ” Maana athma prathishtitha ,vak manasi prathishtitha………….’
