Swamiji, I have two questions which are vexing me very much. one is that I go on pilgrimage trips whenever I get the necessary funds and time, but my spouse is against spending money on this. So whenever I go I go with a guilty heart, her complaints about leaving her alone always ringing in my mind. Other is that, howmuch ever I try, I cannot immerse myself totally in bhagavalsmarana. In the Autobiography of a Yogi, Paramahamsa Yoganandaji talks about a kriyamarg, which brings dhyanam easily. Can u help me with like pointers ? with Pranams Deepu

Dear Deepu,
Though you have a spiritual inclination, you should listen to your wife also. Try to convince her the need of spiritual strength in your life. Also convince her that the pilgrimage will help for a lot of mental energy and it will help us to divert attention to a very higher level. Life is not to be lived for money and family alone. For our development we require money and we should know how to spend it for a great cause. So, we will not have regret in our old age that we have not spent money for a good cause. Also you will have a mental satisfaction that you have utilized your life as well as money well. The mind can concentrate either on form or sound. So pratise Pranayam regularly and see the form of Lord and chant Namajapam and read Gita regularly.
