what is the significance of obsewrving “PULA” such as those on the occassion of birth and death.And also is there anything meaningful to restrict from temple darsan and lighting lamps etc.is there any scientific base for this custom..please let me know.

Dear Gireeshji,
There is not much science behind this so called “pula”; those who are emotionally attached alone have much interest in these customs. The science says never forget God even with these types of beliefs.
Because the more we love and feel God though meditation that much more our mind is free from all these types of so called Pulas.
