Dear Swamiji, It is said that whatever is bound to happen will happen. And on the other hand it is said that we can make wonders happen if we pray hard. And another concept is God will help those who help themselves. Now, in this case where my elder sister is not getting married, should she find a boy herself or should she patiently wait for my parents match making process( thinking it will happen when God will’s it) for which she has been praying? Does that mean prayers are not having an effect in her life? Pranams.

Dear Shreya,
By praying alone nothing will happen, one has to work for it.
Unfortunately in our country, the burden of marriage is on their parents but in other countries the girl is responsible for it.
So tell your sister to find out a boy according to her culture and nature.
