Swamiji, I read today in Times of India that “Satisfied with life, couple ends life in Goa” … after spending 2 months in a 5-star hotel, with a note… “We have lived a very eventful and happy life together. We’ve travelled the world, lived in different countries, made more money than we ever thought possible, and enjoyed spending as much of it as we could on things that brought us joy and satisfaction. We believe in the philosophy that our life belongs to us and only us, and we have the right to choose to die as much as we have the right to live.” Is this Samadhi? Pranam, Kashi

Dear Kashi,
When some body believes that they are showing their intelligence this way (by ending their lives), just think, why they can’t accept and face the life as it comes? Such people foolishly believe that they can make their life according to their will and wish.
But understand, life is not fully in our hand but our mind is in our hand.
If we learn to manage the good and bad, where is the question of escaping from the life?
Those who fail to face adversities or those who are afraid of facing problems that may come in future, foolishly ruin their life.
Instead of worrying about what you get from life, think what you can give – this is the only way to become contented and making life meaningful or worth living. That is what that couple missed.
