swamiji i am a regular listener of your prabhashanam on asianet. I want to change myself. When I listen to you I think that I too should be like that but when a circumstance arise I am not able to follow your directions. I am very hot tempered, I get angry very soon with my kids and husband. I get angry when the things dont happen the way i want i get tensed when my kids dont listen to me when they dont keep their things in place and do the things they should do. I scold them then i repent myself on getting angry. How can i control my anger? How can i make my children listen to me and follow on to be good and disciplined children.

Dear Binduji,
I appreciate you for opening your mind and understanding its weakness. Majority of the people never recognise their problems and they go on complaining or blaming others. Now try to discover wisdom from your own life, look back in your school days and child hood days.
You can see that if anybody commanded you to do some thing, you might have done that without love or mental involvement.
But if any body asked you to do something with love and care, you must have done it with love and satisfaction. Understand what you get is just a reflection of what you give. Change your mind set, learn to love and communicate in the most polite and caring langauge, you can see the radiation of love around you.
To love others, you should develop strength. A weak mind can’t love, it will demand and command. A strong mind requests and suggests. To develop a strong mind, practise meditation.
The more you love God, the more you become strong. Thus you will be honoured and respected.
HariOm!
