Respected Swamiji, I have a doubt while explaining Bhagvatam to my kids who are just 8years old. There is a portion which explains about the nazhikas, vinazhika, yugams, brahmadhinam ,brahmaratri and so on…. So how I really explain them when I myself do not know to explain it properly. Can I leave that portion of Bhaghvatam while explaining to them. Please let me know,Swamiji. Thanking you. Priya.

Dear Priyaji,
Yes, let them understand that our masters studied about the various measurements of time.
Like the variation of time on different experiences in life. If we go through happy moments we feel time has gone fast because we immersed into that. But if we go through sadness or pain, we feel time is dragging. A devotee of Lord will convert boring time into joyful time by engaging his mind in positive activities. So tell your children, never make the mind a boring one.
