Respected swamiji, my father passed away on 15th Oct.2011, on the 12th day the ‘Karmi’ said my dad expired on 15th Oct. after sunset i.e. Kartika star, the next day was my dad’s ‘PIRANNAL’, hence we all one brother and 5 sisters including me should do some Mruthunjaya Pushpanjili, Jaladhara, Kuvala mala & puravilakku at shivatemple for next 12 months, out of 5 sisters 3 r in Mumbai, Swamiji please help us is it necessary to do or we pray for our father, we all pray for him. please help us, awaiting your reply. Please understand, don’t worry about your father, try to become a devotee like Prahlada in Bhagavatham. Lord says “I will take care of all the departed ones of my sincere devotees”.
Instead of that, if you worry you are inviting all the negative energy into your mind. Let the Purohit say any thing, hold on to the Lotus Feet of the Lord .
