In Dakshinamurthi Stotra, Acharya Sankara breif that the world is nothing but our own minds projection & like a image in a mirror. Mirror is used for correcting the face and so the happenings of the world corrects a mind Is this correct?

No, as the mirror reflects your face, so the world of experiences are the reflections of your own mind (attitude, behaviour etc). Different moods of the mind decide the quality and intensity of the experience.
