Namaste Swamiji, I was reading an article about upasan. In that I came across Bhramara-Kitaka Nyaya- here it states”The mind becomes that on which it meditates in accordance with the analogy of the wasp and the caterpillar (Bhramara-Kitaka Nyaya). Just as you think, so you become. This is the immutable psychological law. There is a mysterious or inscrutable power (Achintya Sakti) in Upasana which makes the meditator and the meditated identical. Could you kindly let me know what it states as a wasp and caterpillar analogy.. Thank you. your servant.

Dear Shanthaji,
It means the immense strength of our mind to transform our imaginations into reality.
Every thing happens in the mental plane first, and then in the physical plane.
So, the more you fear about something, the greater the chances of facing it.
(the constant scaring vision of the wasp, transforms the caterpillar into another wasp).
Similarly, the more you love and are devoted to the Lord, the more intimate (with Him) you become.
