Swamiji, I am an engineer and i don’t seem to like what i do.I have an advanced degree in engineering, working in the US.But after working i realised that this is only to earn my bread and that is not my purpose of being here.I think my purpose is to realize the ultimate or clear my self from all the ignorance. At the same time I dont have any job satisfaction.I like to do something useful for others and be at peace with myself.I am married too.I wish to play music and earn a livelihood from that. But i dont think i am that good at that to earn a livelihood. What do you think is the right way swamiji?. 1.To accept the situation and move forward with something you dont like ,hoping that things would change one day. 2.change the situation immediately and go after your heart,s wish. 3.Start to slowly follow what you like to do on the side with discipline, wait patiently for some years and when the right opportunity strikes switch sides. Which path do you think is appropriate to the situation?. I really appreciate all your programs and i think it clears a lot of minds out there of their ignorance.I hope you have the time to answer my question and thank you for your time. Hari om

Dear Jayashankarji,
See, the mind which has high potential power refuses to develop because of our weakness.
Look at the leaders, especially our Indian PM, basically he was not a politician but now he works on that highest responsibility.
Similarly our mind has the ability to prove the best in our endeavors.
It is not important that what kind of work one does, but how he does it.
So, practise deep breathing exercise and practice reciting at least 10 times very long ‘AUM’ in a low pitch, this will help you to develop concentration and involvement in your action.
When you get time, sing and practise bhajans, this will also help you to feel inner peace and happiness.
Instead of wasting time on your mind’s hallucinations, involve sincerely in all your activities.
Let joy, happiness and energy flow through you.
Hariom!
