Dear Menonji,
If you observe deeply within, you can see that your mind and memory are eternal. You have freedom in thinking and enquiring about what is mind and the root of the mind. When you reach that level of understanding, then you can understand, you are living today because of the eternal Truth which holds your existence. It is called Sanathana Dharmam. We do not have crores of Gods, but many Gurus who lead us to the ONE God.
