What is the meaning of chinmudra ?
Posted by Jayakumar on March 7, 2012
Dear Jayakumarji,
Chinmudra is touching your thumb with your forefinger.
The thumb represents God or the Paramathma and the forefinger represents the Ego or Jeevathma. When you are angry, you will point your forefinger.
Chinmudra preserves your energy as it does not flow outwards through your forefinger.
It implies your merger with the Lord.
