Dear Swamiji, Sorry I am not questioning your teachings, but asking one doub about below given one question and answer about “SATI”. After the death of husband, is the lady donot have any brohers or in-laws to protect her. Or since she is in her husband”s house, Sati is better to protect her from in-laws, instead of ”Mughals” means Muslims, are they coming enmasse to this particular house or village to trouble her. In that case no one there in her house/village to protect her? In my opinion first one is best answer i.e. to proect her from her in-laws including mother-in-law !!!!

Dear Vergheseji,
Your suggestion may be right, but our history says that during the Mughal invasions, lot of male folks were forced to join the war. Hence most of the houses were without men. When women became widows they were not allowed go outside and they could not remarry also. Most widows became victims of the Mughal army. In order to protect chastity the practice of Sati started. This shows that our women were pure both physically and mentally.
