Dear Prathyu,
Actually the number has no meaning, it is to develop more and more love with the beloved Lord who dwells in all. Do you count the number of words you use, when you talk to your most dearest one?
In the same way, numbers have no meaning there.
It is just to start the chanting with the numbers as I have told.
