what changes occur to our parents after their death

Dear Nivedithaji,
Bhagavatham 11th canto, 22nd chapter describes death as “Athyantha Vismrithi”.
Smrithi and Vismrithi are like opposite poles.
Sleep is Vismrithi and temporary death in this body (temporary leaving of mind) and death is Athyantha Vismrithi and permanent death in this body (mind permanently leaving this body).
After sleep, mind comes back to the same body, a little more aged, but after death mind takes an altogether new body.
HariOm!
