Swamiji, While attending a spiritual class, the preacher told us that our Athma, which is a point light, will once be a Devatha, then completing a cycle it will become an Asura slowly and thus the cycle goes on like that. There are four different Yugas, each of duration 1250 years and our soul passes through all these repeatedly in a cyclic way. Our soul will be a Devatha on the first two Yugas, slowly transforming into Asuras, and we will be Asuras in the last two Yugas. Then a transformation makes us again Devathas by the incarnation of the Supreme Power. Then he said that our soul will pass through the same Yugas, with the same birth and body as that of the previous time, and thus we will repeatedly have exactly the same experiences and happenings in the same point of the next cycle. We will have the same body, the same parents, the same education, each & every Karmas and Karmaphalas will be the same. This confused me a little. If that is so, then what is the meaning of our life? Why should we improve if we are going to be the same again after a cycle? Is these entire true?

Dear Shyaminiji,
Please ask him, what is his reference?
When we are in doubt, refer to our Scriptures. I have never read these stories in Geeta or Srimad Bhagavatham.
Our Masters have never told either.
My message is always based on the interpretations of our Holy Texts.
