Pranam Guruji, I would like to know from you that why family members are restricted to go to temple for 41 days, after the death of one of the family member? What is the reason behind it and whether its is compulsory not to go to the temple? Even though we read Ramayana and do Asti Visarjanam in Tirth nadi, still we are banned to go inside the temple.

Dear Sapnaji,
It was relevant in the good olden times when the people’s mind were less occupied and memories haunted the mind. It has not much relevance now.
